Spring is here and we are so enjoying the longer days! Spring sports is underway so divide and conquer we is our motto. I have been working on editing pics working on different coloring techniques in regard to card making. I am finding I really LOVE the stamps by Art Impressions, Inc. These stamps, especially the girlfriend series are great! I tried using coloring pencils by Stampin’ Up which I have had for a very long time. I also used the Noir alcohol markers, Copic markers and Blendabilities by Stampin’ Up. This is strictly my preference on what I liked coloring the images. I liked the way the Copic and Blendabilities worked best. I liked the paper by Copic too. The colored pencils didn’t blend as well even using the blender pen by Stampin’ Up. Below are a few of the images I colored, it was a very relaxing day! The first image I stamped with Momento ink. The salon image I used the Blendabilities, the cat lady I used colored pencils. The texting friends stamp I used the combination of Blendabilities and Noir. The friends drinking coffee I used the Noir. It is a challenge working on shading colors and skin tones. I guess a little more practice is necessary, I can’t wait but I must clean up the crafty corner to find my workspace. (Again)
