The holidays are upon us so it’s time to start thinking of gifts to give. I personally enjoy giving, as well as, receiving items homemade.
I have started a new venture in trying needle work. I have done cross stitch and never mastered the back of the cloth looking like the front. I am thankful you could make out the image. Crochet and Knitting are certainly challenging and not as simple as the experienced make it look. I have enjoyed Arm Knitting and made a few scarves for loved ones. I will not give up and can’t wait to see what I can accomplish. Needle work is amazing and may take some time but it is so worth it when you have a beautiful item to wear. I have found being patient is a definite quality to acquire if you don’t already have it. It doesn’t matter if you are crocheting, knitting or using a loom take your time.
Card classes are picking up and I will have to double up in December since I have to travel with Sydni over Thanksgiving. It will be a different way to celebrate the holiday apart from Todd, Joshua and Karli. I am excited to have a getaway but will really miss being away. Preparing for holiday card classes before I leave and have things ready upon my return will be take up much of time. I will be offering a special little something for anyone that attends my in home classes.
Well, I must get busy and here is a head wrap I made for Sydni with her team colors. She needs something warm since practice is held in the evening under the lights. This usually equals cold at this time of year.
Happy crafting as always:)
